A joint cooperation Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) focusing on the development of interaction and creation a field for science, technology and innovation exchange was signed between Iran and Sweden.
According to the Public Relations Department of Pardis Technology Park, by signing the joint cooperation MoU between Pardis Technology Park and Sweden’s Ministryfor Enterprise andInnovation and companies, the field for the development of interactions and bilateral cooperations in the field of innovation, technology, and knowledge-based companies was provided between two countries.
The MoU was signed in Tehran by I.R.Iran’s Vice-President for Science and Technology and Sweden's Minister for EU Affairs and Trade with the presence of Islamic Republic of Iran’s President and Prime Minister of Sweden.
According to this MoU, in addition to facilitating and encouraging bilateral cooperation in technological fields, holding scientific and technological conferences and events for two parties, transferring the knowledge in the field of innovation policy would be in agenda, as well as information about investment capacities, presence at corresponding science and technology parks, cooperation for transferring information and research findings, using professionals’ scientific capacity by holding meetings, symposium and presence of the experts, consultants and other related partners of both sides at the foresaid meetings, and also other cooperations about which would be decided.
Professional conferences by the presence of technology and innovation activists and also the formation of technology transfer meetings by Iran National Technomarket Network and its corresponding center in Sweden (RISE), is the other axis on which this MoU has emphasized.
Cooperation between two governments, provincial and local officials and authorities in addition to the interaction between research institutes for experience and knowledge exchange and sharing the results and achievements have been emphasized in this MoU.
According to this report, innovation and technology joint cooperation MoU between Iran and Sweden was signed by Dr. Sourena Sattari, the Vice-President for Science and Technology of Iran and Ann Linde, Sweden's Minister for EU Affairs and Trade, on behalf of Innovation and Sweden’s Ministryfor Enterprise andInnovation and the companies of this country was signed for 5 years with the presence of Islamic Republic of Iran’s President and Sweden’s Prime Minister.
