To Appreciate Services of the Secretary-General of the D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation

In the opening ceremony of Technology Investment Meeting of D-8 which was held with the support of Iran National Techmarket Center at Pardis Technology Park, the 5-year efforts of Secretary-General of D-8 Organization.

According to the Public Relations Department of Pardis Technology Park, Dr. Mohammad Ali Mousavi who has been the secretary general of D-8 as a representative of Iran was appreciated by Dr. Sourena Sattari at the end of 2017 for managing this international organization for 5 years.

At the opening ceremony which was held on Monday, Dec. 04, 2017 at the Meeting Hall of Pardis Technology Park, Dr. Sattari appreciated Dr. Mousavi by awarding an appreciation letter and a gift, especially for the establishment of D-8 TTEN, of which the secretariat responsibility has been given to Iran.

It is stated in his appreciation letter: "I would like to express my gratitude and acknowledgment to you because of your abundant efforts and worthy services which you have done as the Secretary-General of D-8 organization for economic cooperation. Your endeavors have been toward helping the development of economic cooperation which is based on technology between member countries. It is awarded also because of your effective cooperation and companionship in recent years to create, strengthen and manage the D-8 TTEN programs.

Undoubtedly, with the efforts of my colleagues at TTEN's secretariat which is located at Pardis Technology Park, this sapling will be fruitful in the near future and the Islamic member countries will see the increase of cooperation and technology and innovation exchanges. I ask your success and honor of God."

It is worth to be pointed out that the next Secretary-General will be chosen from Malaysia, after this 5-year period. Indonesia, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, Egypt and Nigeria are the members of D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation.

TIM 2017 was held on Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 04 and 05. at Pardis Technology Park by the efforts of D-8 TTEN's secretariat.
