Pardis Summit 2020 in Tehran

The third round of Pardis Summit was held in the attendance of the head of Pardis Technology Park and its officials, Representative of UNICEF in Iran Mandeep O'Brien and managers of innovative companies on February 18.

During the meeting, participants discussed the challenges and problems of entrepreneurship and innovation.

Pardis Summit 2020 which was aimed at creating synergy among those who are active in the startup ecosystem has various advantages namely in training, networking with innovative events’ founders, managers of innovation accelerators and others active in the entrepreneurship ecosystem.


Addressing the meeting, O'Brien said the innovation ecosystem in Iran is active and consists of many accelerators, funds, growth centers, investment companies, technology parks, technology company, knowledge-based companies and startups which shows the national potential of the country.


UNICEF in Iran has started its cooperation with Vice Presidency for Science and Technology and Iran Chamber of Commerce in line with introducing and supporting innovation for children, she noted.

UNICEF will try to create a national innovation ecosystem for kids in Iran, to help develop 21st-century skills, to promote social innovation among youths, to facilitate transferring knowledge and to indigenize innovative ways.

One of the main differences between Pardis Summit 2020 and its previous editions the presence of volunteers, a limited number of expert participants and special panel for women.


One of the most important programs of Pardis Summit 2020 was holding an opinion poll of entrepreneurial events.
