The workshop was organized by the Center for Innovation and Technology Cooperation (CITC) of I.R.Iran Presidency in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

    Hosted by Pardis Technology Park, the one-day training workshop on Science and Technology Diplomacy was held for new employed staffs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday July 1st, 2013. The workshop was organized by the Center for Innovation and Technology Cooperation (CITC) of I.R. Iran Presidency in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

    "The workshop began by the opening remark speech of Dr. Tabatabayishafiei, vice president of International Training and Research Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, underlining the necessity of holding such a workshop. The workshop continued with the speech of Dr. OmidZamani, Head of the Department of Science and Technology Cooperation of the ministry of Foreign Affairs, mentioning the missions and plans of the mentioned department” Pardis Technology Park public relations division reported.

    Participants got more familiar with the activities of the Center for Innovation and Technology Cooperation (CITC) and some of the country’s advances and achievements in the field of high technologies such as nanotechnology and biotechnology. Introduction to Science and technology diplomacy concepts, technology management principles and Pardis Technology Park activities were other topics that covered in the workshop.

The workshop ended up with participants’ visit of Elektronikbartar and GSNPars Companies.
