Along with the approval of the Prize statute in 2012, initial steps to implement it have been taken by the Prize secretariat

    In this meeting held on 16 June 2013, Vice President for Science and Technology and Chairperson of the Policy making Council of the Mustafa Prize, Dr. Soltankhah highlighted the Islamic Republic of Iran’s initiative on establishing this Prize and said:” the main motivation to establish Mustafa Science and Technology Prize is to reach to highest ranked country in science and technology among the countries in the region predicted in Iran’s 2020 Vision. This aim will realize through introducing the country’s S&T symbols to the world and the Mustafa Prize can be a good example of those symbols. Along with the approval of the Prize statute in 2012, initial steps to implement it have been taken by the Prize secretariat. Moreover, to design the mechanism of the Prize implementation, the awarding processes of international Prizes have been taken to consideration.

    Vice President for Science and technology of the President of the I.R of Iran hoped that strong start of awarding this prestigious Prize can reflect the real scientific and technological position of the country.
