60 Techmart Brokers Serve Knowledge-Based and Technological Companies

About 60 brokers are active in Iran as individuals and legal entities, which are located in various branches of Iran National Techmart, as well as in technology parks and industrial towns.

Elaborating on Iran National Techmart’s mechanism, Mohammad Saleh Khaleghi, Secretary of Iran National Techmart said: We have many players in the country's innovation ecosystem, one of the sectors of the ecosystem is technological exchanges.

A part of these exchanges is done to provide capital, and buy or sell products and services.

Currently, there are about 60 brokers active in the country. Each techmart office also has a council, which is often chaired by the governor or deputy governor, he added.

He noted that five specialized markets, oil, gas, petrochemical, smart city and health have also been established.

He went on to say that brokers often play the role of an intermediary to create a link between an investor and a startup or an industry and a technology supplier.
