Iran’s Minister of Science, Research, Technology visits Azadi Innovation Factory
Minister of Science, Research and Technology of Iran Mohammad Ali Zolfigol visited different parts of Azadi Innovation Factory.
At the event, which was also attended by the Vice-President for Science and Technology Affairs Sorena Sattari, Mohammad Ali Zolfigol and his accompanying delegation visited different parts of the factory and were informed about its latest achievements, Pardis Technology Park public relations reported.
At the beginning of the event, Director General of Branches Campuses & Development of Pardis Technology Park for developing branches Mahdi Azimian presented a report on the philosophy behind the formation and launch of the Azadi Innovation Factory project and then Mohammad Ali Zolfigol visited the factory-based accelerators and innovation centers. He also became familiar with some startups in fields of electronic health, digital marketing, content production, artificial intelligence, building materials and etc.
At the end, the visiting minister called the Azadi Innovation Factory “a result of trust in the private sector and a focus on technology and innovation”. He considered the modeling of this ecosystem and extending it to other parts of Tehran and especially other cities of Iran as the best way to boost the production of knowledge-based and entrepreneurship.
It should be mentioned that the Azadi Innovation Factory is the first branch of Pardis Technology Park and is known as the first Iranian innovation factory. The purpose of establishing this factory is to create a platform to meet the needs of entrepreneurs and those interested in starting startups.
